Healthy skin, clean, and beautiful is certain is the desire of all people. Not complete it if have a perfect appearance however, is not supported by health and skin hygiene are maintained. It would be strange if the appearance of the face and body were captivating, but often because of frequent scratching itchy skin. Charming appearance you have will disappear immediately because of the habit of scratching, very ironic and embarrassing. There are many types of skin diseases which are very disturbing and damaging the appearance, such as skin fungus, acne, blackheads, and that is quite dangerous is the herpes disease zoster.
Zoster herpes disease can occur at any body skin, the disease is caused by a viral infection varicella- zoster. Another name for zoster herpes disease is smallpox or smallpox fire snake. The virus can survive in the human blood stream so that when the immune system in a weakened condition and automatically decreases varicella- zoster virus will be active again and infect the skin so comes the zoster herpes disease, this disease can be transmitted to another person's body, the mode of transmission through direct contact with the skin of patients, with a splash of saliva when sneezing or coughing, and through blood transfusions. It is definitely suffering from herpes zoster will cause discomfort and lower self-esteem. At the outset, the shingles will cause a slight fever, runny nose, feel tired, lethargic, and weak. These symptoms are typical for viral infections. In the more severe cases, can be felt joint pain, headaches and dizziness. Pain will be felt in parts of your body that nerves affected. The pain ranges from mild to severe form of aches and pains, burning or prickling. The skin on the affected body part usually feels soft. A few days later there arose a small red spots on the skin, freckles are then transformed into transparent bubbles filled with liquids, just like the chicken pox but the only clustered along the skin through which the affected nerve. New spots may continue to emerge and grow until a week later. Soft tissue beneath and around the blisters may swell for a while due to inflammation caused by a virus. Bubble skin may feel a little itchy so accidentally scratch, if left unchecked, the bubble will soon dry form a scab (crust) that will be released and leave dark spots on the skin (hyperpigmentation). These patches will eventually fade without leaving a trace. However, if the bubble is burst by scratching, scab will form deeper so dry more slowly. These conditions also facilitate bacterial infections. As it dries, a scab will leave deep scars and can make a permanent scar. Varicella-zoster virus usually only affects one nerve only, on one side of the body. Occasionally, two or three adjacent nerves may be affected. The nerves in the skin of the chest or abdomen and upper face (including the eye) is the most commonly affected. Shingles on the face often cause severe headaches. Facial muscles also temporarily can not be moved. Shingles can occur in anyone at any age, about 1 in 5 people has been exposed to herpes zoster at some time in their lives. Rarely, a person can be exposed to shingles more than once. In most cases, an attack of shingles occurs for no apparent reason. Sometimes stress or illness can be a trigger, herpes zoster is more common in people over the age of 50 years and who have a weak immune system, such as HIV / AIDS or those whose immune system is suppressed for the treatment of cancer. If you have never had chickenpox, you are exposed to chickenpox when contracting varicella zoster of herpes zoster patients. (You could not herpes zoster of herpes zoster patients), the virus is spread through direct contact with exposed skin. However, most adults and children older who had chickenpox so immune to it.

Herpes zoster does not cause complications in most people, when complications arise, the following things will happen :

 1. Neuralgia post herpesIni Post herpesIni neuralgia is the most common complication, nerve pain (neuralgia) of shingles have persisted after the skin blisters disappear. This problem is rare in people under the age of 50 years, the pain usually gradually disappear in a month but in some people can go on for months if no treatment.

2. Dermatitis
Sometimes the blisters are infected by the bacteria so that the surrounding skin becomes red inflamed, if this is the case then you may need antibiotics.

3. Eye problems
Shingles of the eye can cause inflammation of all or part of sight-threatening eye.

4. Weak muscles
Sometimes, the affected nerves are motor nerves and sensory nerves are sensitive. This can cause weakness (palsy) of the muscles are controlled by nerves.

5. Brain infection
Brain infection by the varicella-zoster virus, or the spread of the virus throughout the body. This is a very serious complication but rare, herpes zoster patients with weak immune systems are more at risk to develop complications of this rare.

Shingles usually resolves itself after a few weeks of treatment usually only necessary to relieve pain and inflammation drain :

√ Pain reliever
One of the biggest problems of shingles is pain, pain is sometimes very hard. Paracetamol can be used to relieve pain. If not enough help, please ask your doctor to prescribe more powerful analgesics.

√ Antivirus
In some cases, antiviral drugs such as acyclovir, famciclovir and valaciclovir may be given. These drugs do not kill the virus but inhibit the proliferation of the virus. Thus, the severity of herpes zoster attack can be minimized. The most useful antiviral drugs in the early stages of rash (within 3 days after the rash appears). However, in some cases doctors may still give antiviral drugs even after three days the development of rashes, especially in elderly people with severe shingles, or if it affects the eyes.

Antiviral drugs are not recommended for all patients.

For example; Teenagers and children are exposed to herpes zoster in the stomach often have only mild symptoms and low risk post-herpetic neuralgia. In this situation an antiviral drug is not required.

√ Steroid
Steroids help reduce inflammation and accelerate healing of blisters. But the use of steroids is still controversially.
